Antarctic Journey on board m/v Sea Spirit

Last December 11, I boarded Quark Expedition’s ship m/v Sea Spirit in Ushuaia for a journey across southern Atlantic waters.

During 19 days at sea, we visited the Falkland/Malvinas islands, South Georgia, Elephant island at point Wild, the Antarctic Peninsula at Brown Bluff (the most southern point reached a 63°22′S 056°55′W), Greenwich island, Half moon island, Deception island and Barrientos island (South Shetland islands).

We then headed North through the Drake passage to return to our departure point.

Before going into more details of this journey, a 7 minutes slideshow to share a glimpse of how the southern lands of our planet look like.

    Hi Cedric
It was an outstanding voyage and your photos reflect it. By the way my wife and I were on board with you and had a fantastic time.
